Accommodation

Rooms

Beho Beho’s stone-and-thatch bandas open towards the hillside landscape, with mosquito-netted beds, sitting space, en-suite facilities and a private plunge pool. Bailey’s Banda is a separate private villa with its own pool, kitchen, chef, safari vehicle and guiding arrangements. We select the main-camp or private-villa arrangement around your party rather than treating them as the same room category.

Food & drink

Dining

Meals at Beho Beho are planned around the safari day, with early breakfasts, relaxed lunches and dinners in camp or outdoors when conditions allow. Dietary requirements can be arranged before travel.

Planning your stay

How Beho Beho fits your journey.

Allow several nights for a guided stay in Nyerere rather than treating Beho Beho as a transit stop. Its hillside setting contrasts with a riverside camp; a Ruaha extension adds a different landscape and safari rhythm.

The right fit

Would Beho Beho suit you?

Who it suits

Travellers who value sociable hosting, guiding and views, and prefer substantial lodge accommodation to a canvas tent.

Things to consider

Open-fronted rooms bring the landscape close. Discuss privacy, steps and room allocation before booking; activities depend on guides, conditions and park rules.

Useful to know

Beho Beho FAQs.

Is Beho Beho a tented camp?

Its principal accommodation is in lodge bandas rather than conventional safari tents. Open fronts are part of the design, so it is worth discussing how that suits you.

What can we do beyond game drives?

Nyerere offers opportunities to combine drives with guided walking and water-based activities. The programme is arranged around local conditions and the activities available during your stay.

Does Beho Beho work with Ruaha?

Yes. A flight between the parks can combine Nyerere’s rivers and lakes with Ruaha’s different landscapes. We check the flight schedule before settling the number of nights.

What should we check for a family stay?

Ask about the current age policy, room configuration and suitability of open-fronted accommodation. A family or private-house arrangement needs to be matched to your group.
