About Jabali Private House

Jabali Private House provides an exclusive home in Ruaha National Park, suited to a family or small group travelling together. This is a separate safari home within Jabali’s rocky setting, with Ruaha’s woodland, baobabs and wildlife beyond the deck. Its three-bedroom arrangement, private outdoor spaces and dedicated guiding distinguish it from booking several rooms in a shared lodge. The emphasis is on travelling as one party and enjoying a flexible household rhythm between outings.

Built among a rocky kopje, the house has its own pool, deck, lounge and dedicated team. Guests can also visit nearby Jabali Ridge’s bar, library and spa.

The house extends Jabali’s pale timber and natural textures into a self-contained setting. Open shutters and a lounge flowing onto the deck connect indoor and outdoor living. A dedicated team, chef, guide and vehicle support a flexible daily rhythm, while the main lodge remains available when you want a change of scene.

Accommodation

Rooms

Two master bedrooms have king beds, and the third bedroom has twin beds. Each has its own bathroom with a large walk-in shower. This arrangement can work for parents and children or a small group, although we would consider who should occupy the twin room before selecting it for three couples. Bedrooms have mosquito nets and ceiling fans.

Food & drink

Dining

A private chef prepares meals around your preferences and daily plans, from safari picnics to dinners on the deck.

The chef plans food around your preferences, preparing fresh baking and meals in the house or on the deck. Picnic breakfasts allow the day to begin early without rushing back for a scheduled meal. Your party can dine together privately, an advantage when children’s meal times or a celebration require a different routine.

What to do

Activities

A private guide and vehicle make game drives flexible, with guided walking also available. The private pool offers time to relax between adventures.

Walking and night drives can complement private daytime drives, with conditions and age limits confirmed in advance. The main lodge’s spa, bar and library give companions other choices. The private plunge pool and outdoor seating make the house a rewarding place to spend an unscheduled afternoon.

Planning your stay

How Jabali Private House fits your journey.

Plan the house as a private Ruaha stay rather than as three identical hotel rooms. Allow time for the group’s safari interests and downtime, and consider Nyerere if you want a second southern park.

The right fit

Would Jabali Private House suit you?

Who it suits

Families or friends who want shared living space, their own pool and a private-house safari arrangement.

Things to consider

The three bedrooms are not identical: the smaller twin room needs consideration for groups of three couples. Confirm group capacity, ages and the included guiding arrangements.

Useful to know

Jabali Private House FAQs.

How many bedrooms does Jabali Private House have?

The house has three bedrooms, including two larger principal bedrooms and a smaller twin room. We check the bed configuration against the people travelling.

Is it suitable for three couples?

It may be, but the smaller twin bedroom means the rooms are not equivalent. Discuss who will use each room before deciding.

Does the house have its own pool?

Yes. The private-house layout includes a pool and shared living areas; children and any access needs should be considered when planning the stay.

Can we combine it with a private stay in Nyerere?

Yes. Kiba Point is one possible comparison or combination. Flight connections, capacity and availability determine whether the pairing works for your dates.
