Planning your stay

How Kuro Tarangire fits your journey.

Three nights gives Tarangire room in the safari rather than making it a drive-through stop. Pair Kuro with Ngorongoro and a Serengeti camp for a varied northern circuit. If walking matters, raise it early so the activity can be checked for your dates and party.

The right fit

Would Kuro Tarangire suit you?

Who it suits

Travellers who prefer a small canvas camp inside Tarangire and want the park, guiding and bush atmosphere to lead the stay.

Things to consider

Kuro’s intimate camp facilities differ from a larger lodge with extensive wellness or dining options. Walking is subject to guiding, age and conditions, while the family layout needs confirming for the actual party.

Useful to know

Kuro Tarangire FAQs.

Is Kuro inside Tarangire National Park?

Yes. This distinguishes it from lodges in surrounding concessions or wildlife management areas. We plan the safari around its actual park location.

Is Kuro a large lodge?

No. It is a small tented camp with six guest tents, including a family arrangement. The bush-camp atmosphere is a central part of its appeal.

Can we include walking at Kuro?

Discuss it before booking. We confirm the available guiding, ages, permissions and conditions rather than assume a walk can run on any day.

Would two parks be enough for a short trip?

Often. A proper Tarangire stay followed by Ngorongoro or the Serengeti can be more rewarding than trying to include every northern park with very few nights.
