Accommodation
LABA Grumeti Art Lodge has twelve suites: eleven doubles and one family suite. The double suites measure about 120 square metres, while the 180-square-metre family option has two bedrooms linked by a central living room. Bathrooms include a bath and indoor and outdoor showers. The setting, African artworks and generous living space distinguish it from a simple mobile camp.
Food & drink
Dining at Laba Grumeti Art Lodge is refined and creative, reflecting both international influences and local flavours. Meals are prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients and can be enjoyed in elegant indoor spaces or outdoors overlooking the savannah. The experience is flexible and personalised, with options for private dining, bush meals and sunset drinks that complement the lodge’s artistic and relaxed atmosphere.
What to do
Safari drives explore the western Serengeti landscape, with other outings arranged around permissions and conditions. African art is displayed throughout the lodge, giving the shared spaces another focus beyond wildlife. A gym, pool and spa provide options between drives; the gym has cardio, strength and cross-training equipment. We distinguish shared facilities from the features of the booked suite.
Planning your stay
Allow three nights to explore the lodge’s wildlife area and enjoy its design and setting. We would compare a Ngorongoro stop for a varied northern route, or a second Serengeti camp where a different seasonal location adds value. Confirm the access and activity arrangements rather than treating every Grumeti-branded lodge as equivalent.
