Accommodation
Xanadu has nine individually designed villas, each with private outdoor space, a plunge pool and a dedicated butler. The villas differ in bedroom count, outlook, pool layout and the arrangement of living areas. Larger options can suit families or friends, while couples may prefer a one-bedroom villa. We select the actual villa rather than assume every option is beachfront or has the same configuration.
Food & drink
Dining at Xanadu is a personalised journey, with no set menu or dining location. Instead, guests are offered a bespoke culinary experience tailored daily by the resident chef, using the freshest local ingredients and seafood. Meals can be enjoyed in the privacy of your villa, on the beach, or in the garden, with flavours drawing from Swahili, Middle Eastern, and international influences.
What to do
Private villa time and butler-supported dining are part of the experience. The resort also offers a shared pool, yoga and spa arrangements, with snorkelling excursions, dhow sailing and trips to Stone Town or spice farms providing variety. Marine outings depend on conditions, and the east-coast beach changes with the tide. The proposal identifies the activities included in the stay and those arranged separately.
